Jonathan M. Colman is a shareholder at Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras. He concentrates his practice in litigation with a focus on trust and estate disputes, as well as guardianship, conservatorship and other probate disputes. Jon has significant experience representing fiduciaries, as well as heirs, beneficiaries and other interested parties in complex probate proceedings throughout the State of Michigan. He also counsels clients on best practices and strategies to avoid future disputes when setting their personal and business affairs in order. In addition to his trust & estate and probate practice, Jon also advises a number of businesses on litigation and other matters. Jon serves in leadership roles with a number of civic and community organizations, including serving as chairman of the Board of Governors of the Grosse Pointe Club, as well as serving on the Children’s Foundation’s Planned Giving Advisory Council. Jon is also a member of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit and is past chairman and board member of Leaders for Kids.
