Scott M. Robbins is a partner at Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras. He concentrates his practice in estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, Veteran’s benefits, guardianships and conservatorships and special needs planning.
Prior to joining BRMM, Scott was an Assistant Vice President, Wealth Planner within PNC’s Wealth Management division, providing advice on complex estate, tax and other wealth planning issues.
He also has several years of experience in Estate Planning and Administration. He worked in a law firm in Ann Arbor, Michigan, developing comprehensive estate plans, guiding families through the estate administration procedure and educating the surrounding community through estate and tax planning seminars.
Prior to practicing estate planning, Scott was an associate attorney at a tax and accounting firm, where he represented individuals and businesses in IRS and State related tax matters. He achieved great success in negotiations with tax agencies, including a specific case where he settled a $70,000.00 tax debt for $14.16.
While attending Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Scott was named to the Dean’s List. He also served as a volunteer intern, and subsequent volunteer attorney, at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Detroit, Michigan assisting in prosecutions of arson fraud, major drug offenses and special operations gang prosecutions.
